Yep, in classic fashion, I'm going to post these pictures almost exactly a month late. And this time I for real don't have a lot to say. It was a really fun day, and I'm sure glad its over!!

This picture is at the walk in the morning. I had mixed feelings and couldn't decided if I really wanted to wake up that early to do it, but of course I got talked into it. Sort of anyway, haha. We decided to do the walk, and then just kind of discreatly get out of line before we hit the spectrum so we didn't have to listen to the commencement speaker. Because that would have been LAME! We went to breakfast instead :) It was a fun experience, mostly because I got to walk with 3 of the girls that I graduated with. My two friends Kubi and Brandi made these leis for us, which was so sweet! They took 2 hours each to make... crazy! P.S. I look really dorky in a lot of these pictures. Not that that's unusual or anything. Oh, and thanks to my sweet, sweet husband for coming and taking pictures!

This is probably my favorite picture... NOT! But I thought it was funny, so I decided to throw it in here. Notice how NONE of the other peoples gowns were staticy. Yep, just mine. Nice butt shot. I totally thought I had fixed it prior to the walk, but apparently not.

Here we are in the spectrum. I'm looking around for anyone I know... I never did find anyone, haha. But they were there :)

Love being in the biggest college on campus! Next year all the arts are breaking away and creating their own college. Awesome things always happen right after I leave places! Oh well, not worth staying.

Having my name read. Who chose this lady to announce, I'm really not sure! She's a sweet and very intelligent lady and all, but she as a serious lisp! I had a class from her once and it was really hard to listen to her. That's a mean thing to say, but I'm just being honest. Plus that class was hard, which of course leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

I'm just now realizing that these pictures got a little bit out of order, but look how cute my cute husband is!!!! I was so excited to see him :) Oh, also need to give a shout out to him and my little bro Christian for coming down to take pix. Thanks guys!

Thanks mom for all those $5 toy bribes for going to school for a full week in elementary school. I couldn't have gotten this far without you!!! haha. Seriously though, thanks for all your help in getting me to his point! I couldn't have done it without you! Literally.

Now lets just hope this is all for real! The dumb art office puts in grades for classes that you're a TA for, and they thought they missed the deadline, and in doing so, missed the real deadline, which put my grade in automatically as an F!!!! Anyway, needless to say, I had to call my professor and he had to submit a paper form, but said it wouldn't change the grade for 4-5 weeks. So I guess technically I'm not even graduated yet, haha. The good news is, I ended on a high note! The only 4.0's I've ever had were the first trimester of 6th grade, and this last semester of my college career (assuming the art office can figure it out!). Its very refreshing :)
I really don't have a lot of feelings tied up with graduating like I thought I would. I'm very grateful for all the things that I've learned, and I'm also very grateful to have a life now! It's been a long 5 years, but I'm so glad I did it. Thanks again to everyone for your support :)
Congrats Tara! Your hubs got some great pics (especially the static butt shot)! That's hilarious! Cute shoes too!:) Being a tall gal, I'm always eyeing for cute flats!
ReplyDeleteI wish we could have been there. You're beautiful!!! Congratulations. We are so proud of you!
ReplyDeletecongratulations! it really does feel sooo good to be done!
ReplyDeleteCongrats! That is very exciting. We miss Logan and our days at USU all the time, but it is so nice to be graduated and done with college. Way to go!
ReplyDeleteTara! This is Abbey. You are so cute! I can't believe you have never worn flats before! Those ones are super cute though.
ReplyDeleteI looked at your previous post - I was looking at the pic of that girl and thinking she could be right out of a magazine and I about had a heart attack when I saw it was my Bog! (not that she couldn't be in a magazine, I just didn't even recognize her) That beautiful bog :) Your photography is awesome. Congrats on graduating.
yay for graduating! Love the blog! I will be like you and graduate one day and I hope it's as amazing as it looks...which i'm sure it will be :)
