Halloween

We had a pretty great Halloween season this year :)  The festivities started out as they usually do with pumpkin carving and dipping caramel apples on Monday.
The kids were so cute as usual.  I got to help Stockton carve his pumpkin.  He told me he wanted circle eyes and a smiley face - tough request! ;) He helped me stick the little cutter thing in, and after that he turned it over to me.  He was so pumped when it was all cut and lit!
Tuesday night I went up to my parents to search for a costume to wear to work the next day and came across this gem.  Can't pass up a chance to try this baby on when I see it!  Best wig ever :)
This picture was actually on a non-halloween related day, but I just thought it was so cute :)

I'll be honest, if it weren't for work I wouldn't have any excuse to dress up.  For Halloween that is... Well, also for every other day too I guess.  Brig doesn't love Halloween ;) Surprised? Yeah, me neither.
A few of my co-workers.  After digging through all my parent's costumes, I ended up digging through my little brothers closet and found this sweet shirt.  And that is how I ended up like this.  Can you spot me?  Yep, that's me... the lumberjack.  It was pretty fun :)

This year also at work, one of my co-workers had a fun idea to have a door decorating contest!  I have a major fault - I cannot enter a competition and do it halfway.  It really is not a good thing.  As I was preparing my decorations I was getting ticked at myself for spending so much time on this.  But once it was all up, I was happy with it :)
Yep - went with the creepy doll theme; Which I hate.  But desperate times call for desperate measures.  We had a $5 spending limit.  The only thing I bought were the dolls, which I painted.  My co-worker whose idea this was brought the spider webs and some signs and was nice enough to share with everyone!  The rest of the stuff is just just of mine or my parents :)
 Scary :)
Guess all that hard work paid off!  I won a sweet trophy, Mike & Ikes, and a bottle of hand sanitizer.  Definitely my most glorious victory ;)
After work I went up to my parent's to go trick-or-treating with the kids!  They were all so so so cute!  This is Luke Skywalker, Violet, and Buzz :)
 The dressed up crew
Cute blue monster and cute Yoda! :)
After trick-or-treating we ate some yummy dinner, and watched the Jazz game.
I don't believe in cute/sexy Halloween costumes.  My goal each year is to just be as ugly as possible.  I think this year just might take the cake.
My beard is almost as good as Brig's ;)
The night concluded with one of my very favorite movies of all time!  CLUE!  This is my kind of "scary" movie.  Halloween would not be Halloween without it!  Brig watched half of it with me.  Hopefully he will like Halloween a little more when we have kids ;)
All in all it was a pretty good Halloween.  Hope you all had a great one too!
