Thanksgiving 2011... Jk, jk.

This post really is about Thanksgiving 2012.  No matter what I do, I can't seem to keep up with this blog.  Oh well!  We did go to Hawaii once.  It'll probably be next year before the trip gets blogged about, but whatever.  I thought about making a new years resolution to help fix this problem, but why make a resolution that you know you wont be able to keep, right?!  So I guess I'll just keep doing the best I can :)

One of the greatest things about living here is that we are close enough to be able to spend time with both of our families each year on Thanksgiving!  I love Thanksgiving.  I love food.  Oh, glorious food.  And lucky for us we get to eat twice!  It's a lot to take in, but we're always up for the challenge!  This year was amazing once again, and I am already looking forward to Thanksgiving 2013!
Dad and my baby brother Bretton carving some turkey.  It is so weird to think that Bretton wont be here for Thanksgiving next year!  He'll be going on his mission probably sometime next summer.  I  will miss him!
It was my family's off year this year, so it was just us, my parents, and my little brothers.  I didn't get a picture of my awesome brother Christian, which makes me sad.  I guess he was busy.  Sure love those little brothers of mine... Even if they were pains in my butt growing up ;)
My cute mom.  Who made an amazing dinner as always!  It was fun to be able to talk to my mom about her Thanksgivings growing up.  Her family owned a green house and the holidays were always such fun, with the arrival of the Christmas trees and all the visitors and other festivities.  Sometime I really want to write more about that :)  I'll put it on the to-do list - yikes!

Pretty much immediately after the meal at my parent's, we headed up the Crane's for another!  And boy was it delicious!  I took pictures of everyone that was there, but the pictures were all taken while everyone was eating, and I don't think they would appreciate me posting them on here very much.  I know, I'm sad too.  If it were my siblings, I would probably just do it anyway ;)  But I'll save my in-laws the grief.
So I guess this is all you get.  Me and my bro-in-law Brady, aka Chester ;)
My favorite thing about holidays is that we get to spend them with family.  I love both of our families so much and am so grateful for each and every member!

A few days after Thanksgiving, Brig and I were able to go down to Salt Lake to witness the most beautiful sealing in the Salt Lake Temple.  Brig's aunt was re-married and sealed for time and all eternity to the love of her life.  To make this occasion even more special, she was able to have her two grown sons sealed to her and her spouse.  It really was such an amazing and beautiful thing to witness.  I was totally emotional.  I am so happy for them and their family, and am so glad that we were able to be there.
Fuzzy Brig and his cute grandma.  She may look sweet, but she's a firecracker!  Haha.  She is also very sweet too ;)  Love her!
 The beautiful family
I am so grateful each and every day for the blessings that I have received throughout my life.  I am especially grateful for families; Most importantly for my eternal companion, who I really do love more and more each day.  Also for my faith... What an amazing blessing it is to be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.  I could not imagine where my life would be without the knowledge that this gospel brings.  I owe every great thing in my life to my loving Heavenly Father, and my brother, Jesus Christ.  I am overwhelmingly undeserving, and yet my life continues to be blessed beyond measure.  I know that God loves me.  I am and always will be grateful for that :)
