Water Day/Birthday/Father's Day

Water Day:
What better way to kick off a months worth of partying than by gettin' our swim on?! And when I say swim, I mean water slide and sprinklers! One of the first days that Candice and her family were here, we spent the afternoon just hanging out and basking in the glorious sun. The kids all had a great time! It's so fun to have everyone together! I didn't get a chance to take many pictures because I was too busy talking to everyone!

Funny little Stockton :) This boy is a crack up!

Fathers Day/Sophie's Birthday Party:
Boy did my parents have a full house! I love Sundays. I love just getting to be with family and not having to worry about anything. One of my favorite things about this fathers day was that we also got to celebrate this beautiful girls birthday!

This is my oldest niece Sophie. I love this girl so much! This year she turned 11 and I can hardly believe it! Every time they come to visit she just keeps getting older and more beautiful. I miss having her here so much. When they left to go back to Germany I didn't get too teary eyed until I hugged her. Then I just couldn't let her go! She is just such a sweet girl and is so special to all of us. She has 4 little brothers and you should see the way she helps take care of them! She is definitely a lot nicer than I was to my little brothers, haha. Anyway, luckily for me I get to go and see her again in one month from tomorrow! I am counting down the days! Love you Soph!

Here are some of the kids playing games :) Porter is a little bit like Brig in that he wont take a picture without pulling some crazy face. He's a character!

We also had a really great Father's Day. I am so glad that we get to celebrate days that are dedicated specifically to our wonderful Moms and Dads. I think that they definitely don't know how much we love and appreciate all that they do for us. I wish I was better at telling them that all the time. I didn't get to do a post for mothers day this year, but you better believe that I will sometime!
I don't think that I could ever say enough about what my dad means to me. He has been there for me and all of my siblings every single moment of our lives. My dad has had to make a lot of really hard sacrifices for us, and I can tell you that I don't know anyone that has more willingness to put himself aside and do what it takes to make his family happy and comfortable.

Most importantly my parents have guided us all along our lives to the place where they know we need and want to be. My dad has been such an incredible example to me all of my life. I am so thankful for his testimony of this gospel and that I always knew through my whole life that I could call on him at any time if I ever needed a blessing or a word of advice. I had a really special experience with my dad once that very literally changed my life. I wont be specific as it is something that is very personal and special to me, but I want him to know how important that moment was to me, how grateful I will be to him forever, and that I know I would not be where I am today without him.

Love you so much Dad!

Now here we are, trying to get a few pictures...

This is all of the grandkids minus Stockton who refused to be in the picture, and sweet baby Hadlee. Even though she wasn't there physically, I know that Hadlee was there celebrating with us. I can always feel her spirit when our family is together :)
As you can see, Hayes and Charley weren't too happy about being pulled away from all of their toys. Which eventually led to this picture....

It's a house full of madness! Everyone decided to have some fun and join in on the ruckus, except for Kade and Sophie who are the angel grandkids, and Sawyer who was off in his own little world as usual :) I love all those kids!

To close I also want to give a shout out to my awesome Father-in-Law Mick. This year we went down and spent an early Father's Day and JulieAnn and Seth's house. We had a yummy dinner of shish-kabobs, and got to spend some great time together. Mick has been such an awesome father-in-law. I don't know how I got blessed with such great in-laws!

Mick is always so quick to take care of his kids and help out in any way that he can. He has been a really great example to Brig, and I know he has influenced his life in so many ways. I am so grateful for the person that Brigham is, and I know that one day he will be a great Dad because of his parents example. Love ya Mick!

Well that wraps up this post! Until next time!
