As many of you know by now, my sister Candice and her family live in Germany. We get to see them about once every other year, but sometimes it's longer than that. NO FUN! We are always so excited when they get to come visit!!! This year, we decided to take advantage of their time here and do family pictures - for the first time since I was a freshman in high school. Long, long ago :)
I got roped into doing the pictures, and all I have to say is that it's a good thing my family is all so dang cute! We didn't get to do individual pictures of everyone, or spend a lot of time on anyone in particular. It's was July, which means it was just too hot and there are too many of us now! But here is what we did get:
Enjoy :)

Hopefully it wont be another two years before we can do this again! ;) We've got some new family members who will be gracing us with their presence this year and I can't wait to meet them! I love my family so much. I can't even begin to describe how lucky I feel to have been born to such wonderful parents, and to have such awesome siblings, siblings-in-law, and nieces and nephews, and especially such an amazing husband.
I think about family a lot. How the family is central to Heavenly Fathers plan, and how so much of the world is set on destroying that. When I was younger I didn't really realize how important my family would be to me. I always loved them, but I was busy with friends and school, and my athletics and other activities - which I think is normal. I'm grateful for the emphasis that the church places on the family, and so glad to know that a plan has been set so that we can all be together forever. I am especially grateful that Brigham and I are our own little family, and that someday (SOMEDAY being the key word there), we will be able to expand that family, and can take all of the things that we've learned from our own families, and use them to teach our children the things that we know to be true.
I always look forward to the times I get to spend with my three families; how sweet it is to know that the good times can keep on comin'!
Love the colors. Your whole family is beautiful. I especially love the photo of you and Brig. He is actually kinda smiling!
