Baby Blessings Galore!

Well, with 4 new babies comes 4 baby blessings, and lucky for us at least one of us was able to attend them all!
First up was little Britton.  I unfortunately was unable to attend this sweet little guys blessing :(  We had a couple of unforeseeable events that weekend, and didn't even know if we were going to make it at all!  Brig and I decided that we both really wanted for him to at least be able to be there, so I sent him on his way early Sunday morning.  However, to make a long story short, his alarm didn't go off, I had to wake him up, he was WAY late leaving, miraculously would have gotten there in time except that the exit he needed to take was closed (we have rotten luck), so he had to take the next one and back track, and got to the church RIGHT as the blessing was ending.  He made a valiant effort!  He was able to stay and spend some time with his family for awhile, so that's good.  I told Brig that he absolutely had to get a picture, but of course, no picture. Story of my life.  So this is a picture of little Britton that I stole from his mom's facebook page roughly around the same time as he was blessed.  He is a cutie!
Next up, baby Corbin.  For this blessing, Brig was in Texas attending his niece's baptism, so I was flying solo.  It worked out nicely though because I drove down with my parent's and little brother.  The blessing was beautifully delivered.  Dustin did a really wonderful job.  We laughed a lot about how the old guys in the circle love to bounce the babies, and how it gradually gets to the point where they're pretty much being bounced up over everyone's heads, while the young guys try to use all their muscles to make it stop!  Too funny :)  After the blessing we all had a yummy lunch at a park.
Corbin was kind of ticked that I woke him up for pictures ;)
All of my family that attended.
Next up was sweet little Emery.  This was my first time meeting him and I was so excited!  Brig and I were both able to attend this blessing.  Emery's dad did a great job.  After the blessing we went back to the house for a great lunch.  Isn't that one of the best parts of baby blessings?! Yes it is, I will admit it ;) I pretty much stuffed myself.  Emery is such a sweet guy.  He was being passed around like crazy and I'll admit, I was getting a little annoyed and impatient.  I just wanted to hold him, and he was being hogged!  haha.  Luckily when it was my turn, most of the guests had left, so I didn't feel pressured to give him up.  Look at all that hair!  It is brown with blonde tips - I have never seen that before!  He has such a sweet little face too.
Last but certainly not least, was baby Nash.  Casey and Katie live close, so this was an easy one to get to.  Their church is absolutely beautiful!  It is one of the oldest in the valley.  Casey also gave a beautiful blessing.  After the blessing we walked over to their house and enjoyed yet again, another wonderful lunch.  I made some no-bake cookies for the first time, and yes, I am going to brag here, they were delicious!  Sorry, moving on ;)  This little guy is such a cutie.  And still such a tiny guy :)  All of these babies are getting to the point where they're starting to smile and the older ones are starting to laugh.  So stinking cute!
Family pic, minus Libby and Stockton.

That does it for babies for awhile!  We've got another one due in September, and it would be totally awesome to make it down to HER blessing.  That's right, I said her.  It's a little further away though, so I'll have to see if I can work some magic ;)

Also on the day of Nash's blessing, we celebrated Father's Day!  I wrote a nice long post about my amazing dad for fathers day last year.  I could write so much more about this wonderful man though!  I sure love my dad and am so grateful for all that he's done for me.  He really is the very best!  Love you Pap!
We spend a little bit of time with my family, and then went up to Brig's parents to eat dinner with them.  I also wrote about how awesome my father-in-law is last year, but I do want to say again how lucky I feel to have been blessed with such great in-laws.  They really are the best.  Love ya Mick!
Well, that does it for today!
